Over the Christmas and New Year holidays I had a small issue, and tested them 2 am Christmas Day and New Years day. We have called them up to help us with the Linux side of things and answer some questions on the Plesk control panel. The quality of the servers have always been top notch, and I don’t recall them ever ‘nickel and diming me’ about small things.I have both a dedicated server (high end) and a Linux VPS. Both have been great, and me and my clients are very happy with the service, and how they address problems as and when they arise.They’ve even helped me and shown me how to optimize my OpenCart ecommerce site to make it run faster, and more efficiently.They use a Tier 4 Data center (am told that’s the highest) and as I understand it have recently set up a second Tier 4 data center somewhere else.Great team, been going for a long time, highly recommend. 15 of 15 people found this review helpful. Thursday, July 31, 2014 #20685 Graham I am a web design agency, and have been using bytehouse for many years.I have always found them to be courteous and professional, and quick to help.Noticed that they've had a few bad reviews recently and felt that they deserved some one to stick up for them.They did suffer a DDoS attack, but I believe that they handled it well considering the circumstances.I have both VPS and dedicated servers with them.As for the quality of the support, I have found it still very good, and since they've increased the number of people, I've noticed that whatever time of day or night I place a ticket in it does get addressed in detail and with a blow by blow method of resolution (as well as sorting it out). Wednesday, April 16, 2014 #13316 Ross Harris We've had downtime twice recently, so we decided to switch. We gave notice on one server and they accidentally deleted our DNS records taking our site offline, we then struggled to get hold of their support to fix. Then today all Bytehouses websites have been down due to a cyber attack, with no end or fix currently in site. They've scaled back and outsourced support and the facility where the data is hosted seems to be lacking in investment thus the issues. 2 of 17 people found this review helpful. Monday, September 16, 2013 #9722 Tom We moved over to Cloud VPS hosting with bytehouse and have not looked back since. When we've needed it, we've had experienced helpful support that answered our questions in a straightforward way. We've not had any problems with the hardware or up-time so far (been hosting for 9 months) nor our connectivity. We have been able to scale up and down our server as and when required, which has proven very useful. Our sites have a fast connection speed, which has helped in our site's ranking on Google. I transferred all my clients' sites to their cloud based VPS from Webfusion because I needed a state of the art VPS at a reasonable cost but with reliable support to help migrate the sites, and also ongoing support whenever problems might occur.
