Karisto Limited is a small internet consultancy which originally made its mark in the provision of software services in a number of diverse environments, particularly in the financial sector and food manufacturing industry.
Branching out into the design of web sites for local community projects, Karisto now specialises in the provision of web hosting and digital media services to discerning customers who require a personal touch to their relationship with a service provider, whilst having the security of a larger company running the hardware and infrastructure.

To achieve this unusual mix of security and personal service we have selected a strategic partner who can provide the high-capacity, high-speed, high-specification, reliable hosting service that we require for our customers. At the same time we have researched the best available applications to provide added benefit to our customers' sites and developed our own software where necessary. Since Karisto is independant of the actual infrastructure provider, we also offer the flexibility of hosting your site with other third parties, should the need arise. We also have extensive experience of transferring complex web sites between hosting providers, and can offer this service to move your critical web presence to a new server with minimum disruption.

Our director, Dr Christopher Howland has extensive experience in the information technology industry, both with high-capacity backend systems for large financial and manufacturing companies, and small local web-based community projects, along with a backgound in a range of other disciplines, including genetic engineering.
