Monday, January 15, 2018 Verified Review #56703 Brett Smith I have the personal account and found it the be a great solution to amalgamate store in one place. Help has been swift. Limitations mainly through the various technological differences of so many cloud providers. Highly recommend. Response from Storage Made Easy:15 January 2018 at 05:50Thanks for the feedback Brett. Monday, January 8, 2018 Verified Review #56623 Devin Martin from Class 5 Tax After a (too) short trial, I signed up with a "lifetime" plan. Unfortunately, once I started backing up significant volumes of data, I started getting lots of errors about too many files being transferred, even though I was far below the limits of the plan in GB. When support got back to me, they explained that what I was really paying for was for them to provide a gateway to free, limited, unsupported Amazon S3 space. Total bait and switch. The service was completely unusable to me after support described what I had actually bought. Response from Storage Made Easy:15 January 2018 at 05:57Hi Devin. Firstly sorry you had a bad experience. I see you bought a lifetime plan which cam with 15GB of free storage that you correctly outline is hosted on Amazon S3. This is not unsupported, it is supported by us, we are just transparent that for our direct SaaS plans that we host on S3.The issue was that you reached the limit of your supplied storage. You could choose to add more or you could even bring more of your own, we do not restrict you in that fashion.I don't understand the bait and switch comment, we are very clear about what is provided(https://storagemadeeasy.com/pricing/#business-trial) and what features there are of this plan (https://storagemadeeasy.com/pricing/#features).I believe your support issues was resolved but ultimately we do not like you had a bad experience so please contact us and we are happy to offer a refund if you are still unhappy. Monday, February 1, 2016 #44277 Guillaume from Zawack My experience with Storage Made EasyStorage Made Easy is a very good product, speeds are very good, the service is very stable, this is not the problem, the only thing is the lack of tech support, I have an paid account and they refuse to give me adequate tech support, they close almost each support ticket I open. Thanks to Javier, because he help me with a issue (its very rare I got issues with my account by the way) but another tech rep named Zim close all my ticket. I ask him if its too hard for him to gave me a reply. Surprisingly, he close the ticket.I didn 't says to stay away from this company, no, I just said if you need some help from support because your are not experienced in IT, its not a good idea to go with Storage Made Easy, if you are advanced in IT, go ahead with them! Response from Storage Made Easy:22 August 2016 at 07:06Dozens of free accounts where registered by this customer using different email addresses and this breached out terms of service which resulted in support no longer being provided. Friday, July 17, 2015 #40334 Michael from Houseman The guys at SME asked me to write about my experience with them so happy to do so.We are using them as an Enterprise File Share and Sync on top of OpenStack Swift. We also had some professional services for some custom work that we needed for some internal systems that needed to connect to OpenStack, as well as some data migration to Swift from Isilon. We've had a good experience with SME to date. They are very receptive and Kamran and his PS team have always been there when we needed them so happy to recommend them. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you find this review helpful?
Thursday, July 16, 2015 #40291 John from Howe Worked with these guys on a large scale service that exposed Amazon S3 over FTP. We have a dedicated server using their server on Linode and it it works flawlessly for very large data set transfer from FTP to Amazon S3. Response from Storage Made Easy:16 July 2015 at 07:04Thanks John, it was great working with you. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you find this review helpful?
Wednesday, July 8, 2015 #40105 Cassio Simoes from iPhoneSP SorageMadeEasy FTP service is pretty useless as you can't use it to transfer big files such as from DVR/Camera devices. Pay big attention on the real limited FTP services, because it's a paid service and they won't give your money back. Response from Storage Made Easy:16 July 2015 at 06:52This is not true. Cassio purchase a personal plan and wanted to upload large amounts of data over FTP that exceeded the personal allowance. He would have needed a dedicate instance to process the data required which he did not want to procure. He was refunded in full. 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.
