I found VMhosts in 2010 (via a google search). I needed a UK based VM in a hurry and they looked to provide what I needed at a reasonable cost.

I was impressed by the ease of setup and the support that I recieved. So much so, that I have since used VMhosts for a number of client requirements, including private clouds with mixed windows and Linux servers.

In all cases the support has always been "cand do" and excellent. All tickets have been acted on quickly and well followed up via their support ticket system

The virtual machine quality and reliability has been very good. Storage speed is excellent. The few issues that have occured have always been well reported and explained.

Straightforward ease of administration via your web browser using VMware Vshpere web client is splendid.

I would not hesitate in recommending VMhosts to anyone looking to create a UK based cloud server or more complex cloud environment,

Found out about VMhosts a few months ago(through a forum), after using a few different VPS providers I can finally say that I am happy now, the support is very good and fast, the VPS is stable, running 24\7. Also the prices are kinda fair, not too high for what you get.

I was looking for a replacement for one of my 123-reg servers where support is diabolical and I was surprised to find a fast, stable server and superb support at this price range. We have been using VMhosts' servers and services for a number of years now and they're still our number one host. Almost all of our Linux and Windows Servers, for clients and internal use, are hosted there. Their team is fast to respond to questions and problems, even after business hours. You can always ask them for help on custom server solutions (extra storage, NICs, vLANs etc). They'll offer advice and flexibility that you just can't get from corporate cloud giants like Google, Microsoft and Amazon. If you're looking for affordable virtual servers with real service, you can't go wrong with VMhosts.
