The worldwide leader in crowdtesting. Founded in 2007 by Doron Reuveni, Applause was born from a simple idea: to provide an easy way for software testers to make extra money testing apps. From there, what was originally known as uTest quickly became the go-to destination (uTest.com) for finding crowdsourced testing work. Ultimately, Applause’s growth was fueled by the explosion of websites, mobile apps, and other digital experiences, as well as several acquisitions including Apphance (SDK foundation), and TestHub in Berlin, Germany, which would later become our European headquarters. And as our community expanded, so did the variety of software testing services our community provides. Now, given the size and diversity of the uTest community, Applause can deliver a broad range of services to clients, including exploratory testing, test case execution, test automation, security assessments, usability testing, accessibility testing, testing of voice and AI apps, and much more. Today, the Applause community delivers, on average, more than 2,600 vetted results to our clients each and every day.
