Founded 20 years ago, Decision Design has been building systems for both Fortune 500 companies and start-up companies too. Our founding principles of high energy, responsiveness, and attention to detail are as evident today as they were when we first started. 1995 was a great time to start a software company. With the emergence of the internet we began building web-based products to automate employee appraisals and performance management systems for companies including Lehman Brothers, Sanofi Aventis, William Blair, JP Morgan Chase, and others. We supplied PKWare with encryption technologies, the American Bar Association with an article tracking system, Deluxe Film Labs with an inventory system, Brady with their Netdoc network management tool, and Bradley Corp. with a custom CAD restroom configurator.

Remote work nearly broke our deadline tracking. That's the honest starting point. When our firm was still figuring out hybrid schedules and I was bouncing between the office, home, and the occasional client site, our old calendar system fell apart almost immediately. Decision Design's legal calendar software was the fix, and three years later I genuinely can't picture going back.
The mobile experience is what I keep returning to when someone asks me about this product. Court deadlines, statute triggers, filing windows, all of it surfaces cleanly on my phone without the usual squinting and horizontal scrolling you get from tools that were clearly built for a desktop and then bolted onto mobile as an afterthought. I can check a critical response deadline from an airport gate or approve a calendar entry my paralegal flagged while I'm between meetings. That kind of flexibility matters enormously when your firm is growing fast and the people responsible for compliance aren't always sitting at a desk.
