Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Evo Security's EPIC platform successfully consolidates identity management tools, making it a solid choice for MSPs juggling multiple client environments, though it occasionally stumbles with legacy systems and niche integrations.
The reviewer praised how quickly the multi-tenant design enabled managing different client contexts and how fast initial onboarding proved to be. The platform genuinely reduces tool sprawl by combining MFA, SSO, and privileged access management into one interface. Support was responsive when issues arose, which matters for busy MSPs.
The friction points were real but narrow. Older network devices—particularly legacy Cisco gear—required more manual PAM configuration than the documentation covered. Healthcare SSO mapping for specialized EMR applications also needed extra troubleshooting cycles. These weren't deal-breakers for the reviewer, but they're worth noting if your environment leans heavily on older infrastructure or highly specialized compliance scenarios. For a platform marketed at regulated industries, the integration docs could be more detailed.

“Not quite three months in and I'm already recommending this…”
Not quite three months in and I'm already recommending this to other MSPs managing identity chaos across a dozen or more client environments. The EPIC platform genuinely consolidates what used to require juggling separate tools for MFA, SSO, and privileged access. Onboarding our first few client tenants was faster than expected, and the multi-tenant design makes it practical to switch contexts without losing your bearings. That part impressed me more than I thought it would.
Where things got interesting was the edge cases. A handful of our clients run older network devices, some legacy Cisco gear specifically, and EPIC's PAM integration required more manual configuration than the documentation suggested. Support walked me through it, but the docs themselves were thin on those scenarios. There was also a moment with a client in healthcare where the SSO mapping for a niche EMR application just wouldn't resolve cleanly. We got it sorted after two back-and-forth sessions with their technical team, but for a platform pitched heavily at compliance-heavy verticals, I expected that path to be smoother.
Small gripes, honestly. The core product does what it promises, and for an MSP acting as the security layer for SMB clients, the value proposition holds up. Customer service has been responsive, even if the documentation needs work. If you're evaluating this for an agency context, just budget a bit of extra time for any clients with nonstandard or legacy infrastructure. The platform earns it, but it won't be completely frictionless out of the box.
