Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
HomeTown Ticketing has significant reliability and support problems that frustrated this user enough to give a 1-star rating.
The core issues center on technical instability: the website, printers, card readers, and scanners all experienced repeated disconnections. Beyond the failures themselves, the user felt let down by support. A technician visited once, the day after the system went live, and spent only five minutes without providing meaningful training. A more serious problem emerged when the company added a seating row that didn't exist in the venue, forcing staff to relocate customers who had purchased those non-existent seats.
The user's frustration extended to first impressions—the company couldn't even run a working PowerPoint during the sales presentation that led to the purchase decision. Based on this single review, the service appears marked by unreliable infrastructure, minimal onboarding support, and operational errors with real consequences for ticket sales and customer relations.

“Their website goes down constantly, printers and squares disconnect constantly.…”
Their website goes down constantly, printers and squares disconnect constantly. Said they would come and help but they showed up once to show people how to use it and that was the day AFTER we started selling tickets and got reports from the people using the equipment that they were there for five minutes and didn't really show them anything. Scanners kept going down and they added a row of seats on our seating chart that wasn't even there so we had to scramble to find people, who had purchased those seats, new seats. Horrible company!!! Would never recommend them!!! They couldn't even get a power point to work at their presentation when they were getting us to choose them.
