Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Silver Creek Software's Visual Produce excels at remote access but falls short on mobile usability. The platform impressed this user with its ability to surface lot traceability, inventory, and shipping information from job sites and home offices—a significant workflow improvement for a produce distribution operation. The vendor's produce-focused support also stands out as a meaningful differentiator compared to generic ERP vendors.
The main limitation is the mobile browser experience. Phone screens feel cramped, data-entry tasks involve excessive horizontal scrolling, and the interface clearly prioritizes desktop monitors. For teams working primarily on tablets or phones, this could be frustrating. That said, for mid-market distributors whose field staff relies on laptops for remote work, the software delivers on what matters most.

“Remote access is where Visual Produce has genuinely impressed me.…”
Remote access is where Visual Produce has genuinely impressed me. Most of my day involves coordinating with buyers and receiving crews who aren't anywhere near a desk, and being able to pull up lot traceability records, inventory positions, and shipping docs from a laptop at the dock or from home has changed how I manage the floor. About a year in, I'd say the remote workflow is more capable than anything my team used before. Silver Creek's support staff also knows the produce business well, which isn't something you can say about every ERP vendor.
The one sore spot is the mobile browser experience. On a phone it feels cramped, and some data-entry screens require a lot of horizontal scrolling. It works, but it's clearly designed for a full monitor. If you're evaluating this for a team that lives on tablets or phones, keep that in mind. For a mid-market distribution operation doing most of its remote work on laptops, though, it covers the bases.
