Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
Total Registrations delivers strong emergency support for domain recovery but struggles with consistency in routine notifications and ongoing ticket management.
Users consistently praise the company's ability to respond quickly and solve complex problems when contacted directly, particularly in crisis situations like domain transfers or account lockouts. Multiple reviewers highlight same-day email responses and practical help regaining control of domains after third-party failures. Long-term customers report satisfaction with the service over decades. However, a significant minority experience serious issues: missed renewal notices, unresponded support tickets spanning months, and disputed charges for domain restoration that don't materialize. One reviewer reported a critical issue left open since May with no resolution.
The pattern suggests Total Registrations excels at reactive troubleshooting when you reach them, but falters on proactive communication and follow-through. Complaints centre on failure to deliver renewal reminders, unresponsiveness to tickets marked urgent, and disputes over fees charged when their own notification systems apparently fail. The company's claim that two notification emails were sentβwhich customers say they never receivedβappears in at least one dispute with no resolution mechanism offered.
For buyers, the risk is clear: the service works well in a crisis, but routine processes and persistent support issues remain problematic.

Total Registrations have been incredibly helpful this week. My website was hosted elsewhere, but the company disappeared into the ether without warning over the weekend. ?? After looking at the WhoIs record, I contacted Total Registrations who responded quickly, identified the problem and provided a solution. Emails were forwarded, the domain was pointed to new nameservers, and information provided about moving my account. Everything was up and running again within a few hours. Faultless service, for which I am very grateful.??????????

I thought I had lost my domain name because a firm who were handling it for me were useless. Somebody told me to contact Total Registrations to see if they could help. They were absolutely brilliant in sorting everything out for me. I was dealing with them by email for over a week and they ALWAYS answered my emails promptly. I was surprised to see some reviews from years back slating them as useless. I can only say things must have changed because in my experience they could not have been more helpful. I would recommend them every time.

βLike other reviewers on this site I had major problemsβ¦β
Like other reviewers on this site I had major problems but my problems were from a reseller of theirs and not totalregistrations directly. After receiving no response for months and being locked out of my domain by my North Wales based supplier I have received excellent service from TotalRegistrations customer support. It may be normal practice but from my point of view TotalRegistrations have jumped through hoops to help me regain control of my domain. They also responded same working day to all my emails (10 in total) . Thank you TotalRegistrations!

Abysmal support. I failed to receive renewal notice for my domain registration. It was only when access to my emails was lost and after a week waiting for a response to my support ticket I was charged Β£97 to restorer my domain which I I immediately paid. A week has now passed and my domain has still not been restored despite more support tickets being ignored. These guys are worse than clueless.

Chair Covers WalesβI have had countless problems with this company and hosting.β¦β
I have had countless problems with this company and hosting. They are impossible to contact and more recently websites I have loaded have totally disappeared and despite marking the problem as CRITICAL on their ticket support system one problem has remained outstanding since MAY. Once the website is loaded it's usually a walk in the park but I've even had problems loading websites that they have totally ignored so basically I'm paying for nothing. My personal review if you want a stress free life go somewhere else. If I could rate them a minus star/s I would.

Triton ScubaβI received an order from this company telling me thatβ¦β
I received an order from this company telling me that my domain name would be automatically renewed. The card was declined for some reason and the company have informed me that two emails were sent to tell me this which is their standard practice. We did not receive any emails. They cannot 'find' the emails that were sent but do not accept that we did not receive them. As a result they now want the Β£85 redemption fee. All they have to do is find the emails that they claim were sent originally.
