Uptime was my first real test of Avionte, and three-plus years in, it has largely passed. That matters more than people admit when you're running a mid-market recruiting department where a two-hour outage means dozens of placements stall and phones start ringing from every branch coordinator on staff. Avionte's infrastructure has held up far better than the legacy system we migrated from. Unplanned downtime events I can count on one hand. Scheduled maintenance windows come with advance notice, which lets my team plan around them. For a platform processing this much payroll and placement data, that kind of reliability is not a small thing.
The bug history is where I have to be honest. The first eighteen months did have a stretch where the payroll module threw intermittent calculation errors after a significant update. Support eventually sorted it, but it took longer than it should have, and the workarounds my team had to run in the meantime were not confidence-inspiring. Since then, releases have felt more stable. They clearly tightened something on the QA side, because the last year or so has been genuinely clean. Still, if you're evaluating Avionte, go in knowing that a big platform update can occasionally introduce friction before it smooths out.
Overall, the reliability story is a positive one, with that one real caveat. The ATS and back-office functions run dependably day to day. The VMS piece has been solid since rollout. I'd feel comfortable recommending Avionte to another ops manager at a similar-sized firm, especially one coming off something clunkier and less stable.
