Solid as a rock. That is the honest summary after more than five years running TrackSmart for a small team. I switched after a nightmare with spreadsheets and a clunky DIY timesheet setup, and the thing that has surprised me most is how rarely anything has actually gone wrong. I can count genuine outages on one hand across the entire stretch. No phantom punches, no data disappearing overnight, no Monday morning panic because the system ate last week's records. For a seven-person operation where I wear about four hats at once, that kind of reliability is worth more than any flashy feature.
The interface is not going to win design awards, and the reporting customization is a little limited for anyone who wants deep analytics. But every core function, clock-ins, schedule views, approval workflows, has worked the way I expect it to, consistently, for years. They have pushed updates without breaking things I depend on, which honestly cannot be said for every vendor I deal with. If uptime and boring-good reliability matter to you, TrackSmart earns its keep.
