Permissions management is genuinely where Zoho Analytics earns its keep for agency work. Over five years of configuring this on behalf of clients, I've set up dozens of workspaces where the wrong person seeing the wrong dashboard would be a real problem. The row-level security, the ability to share specific views without exposing underlying data, the fine-grained control over who can edit versus who can only view: all of it holds up. Onboarding a new client environment takes me maybe an hour to get the access structure right, which used to take half a day with the spreadsheet chaos we relied on before.
The one thing that still frustrates me is the organisation-level admin console. It's functional, but jumping between client workspaces feels clunkier than it should at this point. There's no clean parent-level view that shows you all your managed accounts in one place. You end up clicking around more than necessary. For a solo consultant managing eight or ten client environments, that friction adds up. Solid product overall, and the SQL query layer is a genuine bonus.
