Cityworks has earned its place in my daily toolkit. After five years of configuring and running it for municipal clients, the GIS-centric layout genuinely clicks once you understand the logic behind it. Work order creation, asset lookup, scheduling, it all flows from the map in a way that makes sense to field-oriented teams.
The one real downside is the learning curve for new client staff. The UI is dense in places, and onboarding someone unfamiliar with ArcGIS takes real hand-holding. Solid platform overall, just don't expect anyone to pick it up without structured training.
