Remote work essentially became permanent for my team a few years back, and Figma is the main reason our design process didn't collapse under the weight of that shift. I coordinate curriculum materials for a small nonprofit education organization, and the ability to pull up a prototype or wireframe from any device, anywhere, without losing context, has been genuinely useful. The real-time multiplayer editing is where it earns its keep. Colleagues drop comments, I revise on the spot, and nothing gets lost in an email chain. Three years in, it still handles that part well.
