Clean, intuitive, and genuinely pleasant to use every single day. That's the short version. About a year into running HR solo for a fast-growing startup, and BambooHR still hasn't frustrated me the way every other tool I've tried eventually does. Employee profiles load instantly, time-off requests take seconds to approve, and the self-service portal means people actually handle their own paperwork without hunting me down.
Onboarding new hires used to eat half my week. Now the checklist feature walks them through everything while I focus on other things. The UI is so well organized that even our least tech-savvy employees figure it out fast. Customer support has been responsive too, though I've rarely needed them.
