Reliability was honestly my biggest concern when my team pushed to move everything onto one platform. Two years later, I can count meaningful outages on one hand. For a non-profit running thin on staff, that consistency matters more than any single feature. Billing runs on schedule, attendance records stay put, and I haven't had to explain a system failure to a parent in recent memory. The bug history since our onboarding has been pretty clean too, which isn't something I could say about the clunky desktop tool we replaced.
The one real frustration is that Procare's mobile app has had some recurring glitches with push notifications for parent messaging. They do fix issues, but the same notification bug seemed to resurface twice over the past year before it was properly resolved. Their support team is responsive and I genuinely like the product overall, but that particular cycle of fix-and-reappear wore thin. For a centre of our size running a tight operation, Procare holds up well where it counts.
