The thing that sold me on Zoho Books, honestly, was how well it talks to the other tools my department leans on day to day. Connecting it to our project management platform took about an hour, the Stripe sync took less, and pulling expense data into our reporting stack stopped being a Friday afternoon headache. Six months in, my finance team of three has cut a lot of the manual data-shuffling that used to eat up our week. The automation rules for recurring invoices also work quietly in the background without needing constant babysitting, which I appreciate.
That said, the native integration library does have some gaps. A couple of the niche tools we use required Zapier workarounds rather than direct connectors, and setting those up is not exactly plug-and-play if you're not technically inclined. Customer support was helpful when I got stuck, though response times vary. For the price point, this covers a lot of ground and the core integrations are genuinely solid. Not perfect, but close enough that I wouldn't switch.
