Reliability was my biggest concern going into this. Two years ago, when I pushed to roll Wave out across our entire operation, a few colleagues were skeptical that a free tool could hold up under daily, multi-user pressure. They were wrong. In two years of near-constant use, I can count the outages on one hand, and none of them lasted more than a few minutes. Bug fixes have been quick and quiet. No nasty surprises mid-close, which is exactly what you need when the books have to balance on schedule.
The invoicing and payment tracking layers have stayed consistent too, which matters more than people realize. Features don't randomly disappear after updates, and the interface doesn't shuffle itself around every few months the way some platforms do. Customer support is a little slower than I'd like, so if you hit a real edge-case issue, budget some patience. But for day-to-day accounting work, Wave has been one of the steadiest tools in my stack. Genuinely impressed.
