Configuration heaven, mostly. A year into running CityInsight solo, and the admin panel is genuinely one of the better ones I've touched in this space. Permissions are granular without being overwhelming. I can set up user roles, restrict access to billing modules, and control what's visible at the customer-facing level, all from one screen without hunting through nested menus. For a solo operator managing a handful of municipal clients, that matters more than people realize. Clean, logical, predictable.
The one gripe is that saving custom permission templates is clunkier than it needs to be. You can build a role from scratch just fine, but duplicating it for a slightly different client configuration requires more manual steps than seems necessary. It's not a dealbreaker, and their support team walked me through a workaround without much fuss. Overall, CityInsight earns its place in my toolkit. If admin control and configuration flexibility are high on your list, this is worth a serious look.
