Identity orchestration finally clicked for me when I dug into Transmit Security's adaptive authentication flow builder. At a startup our size, I'm the only one managing access policies, so I needed something that could handle conditional logic without turning into a six-week implementation project. The flow builder lets me chain authentication steps based on real-time risk signals, device posture, user context, all in a visual editor that doesn't require a PhD to navigate. About a year in, I've built out a dozen different flows for different user tiers, and not once did I hit a wall where I had to hand things off to their support team just to keep moving.
That said, the documentation has gaps, especially around some of the more advanced API hooks. I found myself piecing things together from their community and a few back-and-forths with their technical team, who were genuinely sharp but occasionally slow to respond. For a growing company trying to move fast on compliance without blowing budget on a full IAM team, this product punches well above its weight.
