Cloudwalks made an egregious error that they refused to fix AND REFUSED TO MAKE IT RIGHT. Costing us $650 and several days of lost time and productivity. Cloudwalks installed someone else's 2020 Quickbooks license on our remote server! Forcing us to purchase a new version of Quickbooks that we would not have made - $650. (we upgrade only on odd years) When I opened QB 2019 β on Thursday 5-14-20, it asked if I wanted to update, thinking it was a normal system update I said yes, and walked away to do something else. The next time I went to open QB it opened in 2020 and I didn't notice the change. I proceeded to do 3 days of intense year-end work on the system prior to discovering the problem on Monday afternoon when I attempted to charge some customer credit cards. Cloudwalks refused to do anything about this trying to make it my fault for updating when prompted. There is no reason that QB 2020 should have been on our system at all!! Because once you install a newer version, QB tries to force an upgrade every time you logon. My only option was to purchase a new version of Quickbooks. In addition to the money, resolving the issues, changing servers, setting things up and spending countless hours on tech support 16-18 at last count Plus constant break-downs β every time I change Quickbooks Premier from multi to single user or back again, the system would freeze and I'd have to have the company reset. Resulting in a lot of hassle and lost time, granted the response time usually had us back up and running within 15 minutes, but I hated having to change back and forth and then email them for help each time. Basically zero phone support. No one there really speaks English very well and they discourage phone calls.
