We are a privately held U.S. corporation proudly headquartered in Austin, Texas, with software development and support centers in Canada and India. Aurigo is the top choice for over 300 customers across North America. Our deep industry expertise comes from working closely with cities, counties, states, utilities, light rail, transit authorities, airports and contractors over the past 15 years, helping them successfully plan and deliver over $300B of capital projects. AURIGO (OR-e-go) Just like Worcester and Kissimmee, our company name tends to get mispronounced on the first read. Aurigo is pronounced OR-e-go. Put a big emphasis on the ‘OR’ at the beginning and let the rest flow lightly from there. Our name is derived from Auriga, a constellation that lies in the Northern Hemisphere and means “the charioteer” in Latin. In Greek mythology, Auriga is usually depicted as a charioteer, holding the reins of a chariot with his right hand while carrying a goat and his two young kids on his left arm, always moving forward. With a play on the word GO in Aurigo we have taken this idea of movement, acceleration, progression, innovation, and advancement, and extended it into our name, methodology and company spirit.
