Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
ColoCrossing receives sharply divided reviews that reflect two very different customer experiences: strong support and reliability for retained customers, but serious concerns about spam and abuse that dominate the feedback.
Long-term customers consistently praise the company's responsive support team, server reliability, and professional service. Users report 2β10 years of satisfaction, with particular mention of quick ticket response times and helpful staff members by name. Several emphasise that the infrastructure meets their needs and uptime has been solid. One healthcare client and one reseller have both remained for over a decade.
However, the majority of reviews focus on a single, damaging issue: ColoCrossing's reputation as a spam and phishing source. Multiple reviewers report that the company's IP ranges are blacklisted by ISPs, that abuse reports go unanswered for weeks or months, and that they host spammers, scammers, and phishing operations without taking action. A smaller subset of complaints cover poor technical performance, unresponsive support during outages, unexpected fees, and equipment damage during de-racking.
The contrast suggests ColoCrossing may serve established, well-behaved customers well, but has lost control of its network's reputation and abuse handling. For buyers, the prevalence of complaints about spam facilitation and non-responsive abuse teams presents a significant reputational and operational risk.

We've been very happy with ColoCrossing Servers for the last 2+ years. We started off small with their Xeon E3's to test out the network and overall customer service, and it's been top notch since then. We value professionalism and quick service, and Ernie always manages to beat expectations with this. Overall, I really dont think anyone can match their time for support - tickets are answered quickly regardless of when they're created, and IPMI on servers gives us good control over servers. We continue to purchase from CC, our end customers are happy with the quality and we couldn't be more thankful to the team here.

Very bad experience with this company. I have had the service for 4 days and I have not been able to enjoy it because someone is attacking my server. I hired this hosting because it promises an anti-DDos service: https://www.colocrossing.com/managed-service/ddos-mitigation/ I have opened a ticket on their platform (#722006) and asked them for a refund, because if they can't stop the attacks, I don't want the service. I've been trying to talk to them for two days and nobody answers me.

βI signed up for co-location service around a month agoβ¦β
I signed up for co-location service around a month ago in March 2024. Initially, there were delays as they couldn't rack my server for a whole day. However, the most frustrating aspect was the incredibly slow internet service. I could barely achieve upload speeds of 40-50 Mbps. Despite opening multiple tickets, the issues remained unresolved, leading me to ultimately give up on their service. What's more, despite not signing any contractual agreements, they insisted that I pay a de-racking fee along with the next month's invoice to retrieve my server. Upon receiving it, I noticed that the server's rails were damaged during the supposedly paid de-racking process. I have experience working with numerous data centers worldwide, including seven in the USA and nearly twenty in Europe, and I must say that this experience was by far the worst in terms of internet connectivity and the competence of both technical and sales personnel. It's disappointing, to say the least.

βUnless you want to be associated with a spammer friendlyβ¦β
Unless you want to be associated with a spammer friendly service do not use these people. The reputation of IP addresses in their range is very poor and many ISPs block them. Look them up and you'll see what I mean. They host the worst kind of spammers too: Indian scammers peddling fake SEO services so they can commit fraud. If there was any justice ColoCrossing would be held responsible for facilitating criminal activities.

Notorious spam source. Since the middle of September I have been receiving spam originating from their IP addresses. It is now the middle of November and I have received over 100 from them. Forward to abuse, no acknowledgement, the spam keeps coming. They do nothing. They also do not respond to ARIN requests for IP record verification. Don't care. Do NOT do business with this sleazy outfit!
