Review Summary
Generated using AI from real user reviews
PathSolutions delivers strong network visibility at a steep initial price, but negotiation and non-profit discounts can make it work for budget-conscious buyers.
The main barrier is cost—users report sticker shock until they discover that pricing discounts exist but require direct conversation rather than advertised tiers. Once price is settled, onboarding moves quickly and dashboards are intuitive enough that non-technical staff can read them without struggle. Users appreciate the ability to pinpoint which devices degrade VoIP quality, and support responses have been reliable. One reviewer was recommending it to peer institutions within two months.
The core complaint centres on transparency: pricing tiers should be clearer upfront, especially for smaller organizations that shouldn't have to negotiate blind. The reviewer wished this information were more visible before initial contact. Beyond that, no significant functional complaints emerged—the monitoring itself is described as solid. Prospective buyers from non-profits or schools should expect to contact sales directly to discuss discounts rather than relying on the website.

“The price point stopped me cold when I first saw…”
The price point stopped me cold when I first saw it. Non-profits and schools don't exactly have fat IT budgets, and I spent a solid two weeks trying to justify this to our finance committee. What tipped it was PathSolutions' willingness to work with us on a non-profit discount, which nobody on their site advertises clearly. You have to ask. Once we cleared that hurdle, the onboarding was genuinely quick, and within the first few weeks I could see exactly which devices were dragging down our VoIP quality. For what we're paying, the visibility we're getting is hard to argue with.
That said, I do wish the pricing tiers were more transparent upfront. Smaller organizations shouldn't have to negotiate blind. The monitoring features themselves are solid, and even my less technical staff can understand what the dashboards are showing. Customer support has been responsive every time I've reached out. Seven or eight weeks in, I'm already recommending this to two peer institutions, with the caveat that they go in ready to have a real conversation about budget before signing anything.
