“The platform we ditched before this one could not connect…”
The platform we ditched before this one could not connect live inventory to anything customer-facing, so staff were constantly quoting plants we no longer had. Plantista fixed that almost immediately. The 3D design tool is the real standout: customers come in, we walk through a layout together, and the designs pull from actual stock in real time. Two years on, my small crew still talks about how much smoother consultations feel compared to the old system. The Square integration works without much fiddling, which matters when you have maybe five people running the floor on a busy Saturday.
The one honest complaint is customer support response time. It has improved, but in the early months I was waiting two or three days for answers to pretty basic setup questions. Given that this is still a newer platform, I cut them some slack, and things have gotten better. The automated plant care notifications are a genuinely nice touch for post-sale customer retention. For a small operation like mine, the value is there.
