I applied for this company a couple months ago. I had to decline because I didn’t have the right computer at the time to do the scan. Fast forward to three days ago I was approached after filling out 169 indeed jobs by the same company or what I thought was the same company. Since I applied to so many jobs I took this offer seriously. They offered me a ridiculous amount of money and a stay at home position as an “Administrative Assistant”. An email recruiter with the email “tteccompany2110 at gmail” reached out to me and said that the interview would be through google handouts. I followed instructions and got the job without talking to someone over the phone once. I looked through the indeed reviews and what was happening to me matched up. Then the recruiter names “Alex” would explain how they would send me a check to pay for a brand new laptop and hp printer. Me being a recent college graduate thought this was true. The PDF check was emailed to me from an email “susanstapp0 AT gmail” and mobile deposited as instructed. It took a day so the next day I let the recruiter know and this is why I realized something wasn’t right. The recruiter told me to send a partial amount to the “vendor” through Zelle. The zelle account holder was oniela bent. I tried and luckily it didn’t work. The recruiter then asked if I could do cash app or Venmo. This is why I know it was a scam. I accused him of scamming me on the google handouts app and he blocked me. I need corporate to see this message to really get to the bottom of this. I’m scared for my life. These scammers have me address. I’m afraid they are going to try to kill me. They obviously are master mind criminals. I called the REAL ttec but they did little to help. It makes me think it’s an inside job because the fake company got my information from the real company.
